6 Using Graphics in MM Applications Two main types of graphics are used MM: draw-type (vector based) and bitmap –Draw-type advantages: ability to resize and rotate; smaller file size; –Draw-type disadvantages: more complex take longer to load; not photo quality

7 Using Graphics in MM Applications Continued –Bitmap graphic advantages: excellent photographic ability lies within the subtle color gradient abilities; quality is generally higher than draw-type –Bitmap graphic disadvantage: much larger file which can easily take up too much room within storage.:
