3 Motivations 1.Students with special needs: 5% of Moroccans have a disability and only 0,11% have access to HE; among them, very few finish their studies. 2.International students: 65 nationalities, most of them from Subsaharan origin; most difficulties are related to the integration of linguistic and cultural diversity. 3.Students facing poverty and socio-economic precarity: the rural origin and the family situation may usually lead to dropouts. 4.Female students facing unequal opportunities and discrimination: Women often choose studies that may not imply easy access to the labor market and which may lead to unemployment.

6 General objective Introduce a strategy to ensure inclusion and equal opportunities at Moroccan universities and in the Moroccan society at large. 4 groups of students facing difficulties linked to: - Disabilities - Cultural and linguistic diversity - Socio-economic issues - Gender issues

7 Specific Objectives 1.Conduct a national survey at the secondary and tertiary levels to judge the state of inclusion in the Moroccan higher education system -WP3. 2.Analyse the situation in the 9 partner universities to assess the degree of integration of the 4 groups and to better understand the training needs of the managers of the 'resource centers' -WP5. 3.Create and institutionalise the Moroccan Network of Universities for Inclusive Education (RUMI) -WP2. 1.Establish a National Technical Committee for Inclusion, Dissemination, Mobilization and Support of Young Students (IDMAJE) able to back the strategy of RUMI - WP2. 2.Reinforce the training of trainers at each university and provide adequate equipment for the "resource centers"- WP6. 1.Conduire une campagne de diffusion et de sensibilisation institutionnelle et sociale -WP4, WP7.
