e VIP : Faster. Cheaper. Better. What is Next for eVIP? With the completed collection of lessons learned from Pilot Phase 2, we are working with our partners and Business Owners to assess implications and next steps for Pilot Phase 3. Pilot Phase 3 will involve 2 phases. –The 30 vendors will be rolled out in waves with 5 vendors per wave (6 waves total). The deployment schedule and vendors are in development. –Phase 3.1 will be the staggered invitation of 30 vendors with View-Only access. –In Phase 3.2, those 30 vendors will be granted Invoice-Entry access in a staggered manner. In upcoming SAC meetings we will brief you on the lessons learned from Pilot Phase 2, an update on the roll-out for Pilot Phase 3, and the impacts/any required action items for the acquisitions community. 3

e VIP : Faster. Cheaper. Better. eVIP Working Group – Ongoing Membership and Nominations Working Group needs for Pilot Phase 3: –The current eVIP Working Group has strong representation from the COACs for the 2-way approval process, but less representation from staff who support pilot vendors, particularly 3-way Buyers, COs and Receivers. –Going forward, the main focus of this group will be on the expansion of eVIP to the additional 30 vendors rather than on the 2-way approval process changes. –Input is needed on community impacts and how to most effectively prepare both vendors and NIH staff. Action Request: –Please review your IC’s current representation (attached) and coordinate with your current members and NBS Advocates to determine whether any changes are needed. E-mail Marijke Smith to confirm your IC’s ongoing representation.Marijke Smith 4

Course Purpose: Overview of eVIP and the research capabilities of Oracle iSupplier.
