9. Non-Citizen Application Process Complete ISBE application and turn in to Council After all requirements are met we’ll sign/stamp application and return w/Notice of Intent to candidate Present documents to an ROE Show proof of legal status Pay fees

10. Requirements for Certification Application must be submitted to Council Appropriate test scores Student teaching time report (done online) –Be sure it is complete, thorough, and accurate –ONLY record we have Letter of recommendation from depart Grades/Degree

11. New ISBE Rules Effective February 1, 2012 –No professional education or content course with a grade lower than a ‘C’ can be used toward certification, endorsement, or approval –No professional education or content course taken for CR/NC can be used toward certification, endorsement or approval

12. Approval/Endorsements Early Childhood Special Ed Approval needed for pre-K Can obtain endorsements to teach courses outside of Special Education K-4 5-8 6-12
