Examples of Globalization: Multi-national Corporations use globalization to expand their markets. McDonalds, Starbucks, etc. are examples of this.
4
Conflicting Views: Anti-Globalization Loss of jobs Market competition leads to dominant corporations. The corporations then displace independent stores (mom and pop shops)
5
Conflicting Views: Anti-Globalization Destroys culture- results in westernization Rapid spread of disease Slavery: Indentured Servitude:: Imperialism: Globalization Lack of diversity, corporations create monopolies.

Voluntary exchange is mutually beneficial. Creates an interconnectedness between nations and greater diversity. Exchange and diffusion of ideas, and technology.
