6 Good, Bad, Ugly? Everyone should read Fences. You should read this book; I really liked it. Fences is about a family in the 1950s. Fences should be read by all 11 th grade students in Washington County Public Schools because students can relate to it.

7 Thesis Statements Includes topic & claim & why: – Fences should/should not be read by every 11 th grader in Washington County Public Schools because of it’s relatable characters. – Topics should be in order as they will be in the essay! Does NOT include phrases like: – I think – You should – (anything with personal pronouns)

8 Reflection: Concerning your essay: -What are you most nervous about? -What are you most excited about?
