My Experience Straight forward installation Easy to use interface Responsive Google Chrome not available for Linux Google Picasa not available for Linux Edubuntu includes many children’s applications Overall – Easy for a novice to install Fast and easy to use interface

Overall Ubuntu is very similar to Vista Installation is one of the easiest I have experienced Lots of applications Cost is a real benefit Speed appeared much better with Ubuntu - May be significant with a Netbook - Signed up for Google Chrome for Linux - Not a fan of IE, Firefox or Opera
