ILAIPP members are diverse in years of institutionalization, some created in the decade of the 60s and others since 2000 ILAIPP members have different numbers of researchers, from 7 up to 33 researchers on a diversity of fields of study The diversity of ILAIPP members enrich the capacity to conduct relevant research with potential to influence policies in different contexts

Knowledge generation and propose to enrich the debate on public policy and the development of Latin America Generate comparative research to bear on the public policy debate Increase the capacity of the centers to do research Construction of a space for exchange, discussion and learning among think tanks in the region, with proposals and experiences to influence public policy. Visualize ILAIPP as a regional leader for Public Policy Research of common interest of members Promote exchange of best practices for incidence among the institutions from the Think Net Promote actions to strengthen the institutional capacities of the centers that comprise Strengthen the organizational capabilities of ILAIPP and Think Thanks members Establish an internal communication system
