A = 90-100%, B = 80-89%, C = 70-79%, D = 60- 69%, F = less than 59% Work missed when absent can be made up for full credit; it is the student’s responsibility to find out what he/she missed. Late work (not absent work) will receive a maximum of 70% of the total score. How can my child get good grades: 1. Come to school every day. 2. Do all the work. 3. Do your best work every assignment.

Check Planner daily and make sure assignments get done. Have them read a lot! UMS expectation is 30 minutes 5 nights a week. Plan ahead—if there are any projects make sure they are not left until the last minute. Check PowerSchool for update of grades/assignments
