Student Item Analysis Mining Data How to interpret the SIAR and count incorrect answer: O Remove all Needs Improvement from class set. O Distribute remaining SIAR to team members. Each member will help count incorrect answers for each standard. O Incorrect answers are boxed. Start at the bottom of the first column working upward to count and record incorrect answers. O Use one SIAR as a tally sheet. Compile information and make as Final Count. O Return all sheets to envelope. O Reminded of confidentiallity O NOTE: The questions are marked EASIEST at the bottom to DIFFICULT at the top. It is important to know the level of question difficulty so please do not combine GLEs in your count. Each GLE listed is a different question.

Homeroom Teachers Please Collect: O State Consent Form for Scholarships, Grants and College Admissions O The state now requires that parents and/or 18 year old students provide permission for schools to share student data with the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) and to postsecondary institutions, such as Louisiana colleges. This consent form is required for all students. Please review the enclosed form and sign in the area to consent(permission) or to decline consent(no permission). The form should be returned to school by January 7 th. Please consider that the school may not share information required for TOPs or college admission without the signed form on file.

Family Academic Night O January 28 th, 2015 O 6:30pm – 8:30pm O Stipends through Title One O The Louisiana High School Diploma and State Testing requirements for graduation (All parents & students). O Dual Enrollment courses offered at Ehret and local colleges, along with information about courses at Cullier Career Center (for 10 th and 11 th grade students). O Meet with teachers and preview course elective offerings for the 2015-16 school year; O Parents of 11 th and 12 th grade students may attend sessions about Financial Aid and; O Seniors and parents may use our computer lab to begin work on FAFSA Forms needed for Financial Aid and TOPS. O IB meeting for 9 th & 10 th grade students about “Preparing for the 11 th and 12 th grade IB courses “or IB World Examinations. Parents are invited to attend sessions that focus on course selection; helping students prepare for opportunities after high school
