4. Motion: spread arms wide. Language: “big. He is big!”

5. Motion: flex biceps. Language: “can. Can I lift this?”

6. Motionsignal a person to come with palm facing up. Language: “come. Come here.”

7. Motion: swoop hand and arm in a downward motion. Language: “Down. It’s going DOWN!”

8. Motion: hold out both palms facing up and move towards child. Language: “for. This is for you.”

9. Motion: lean forward while pointing. Language: “Go. I said GO.”
