GROUP PROCEDURES YOU WILL BEGIN CLASS WORKING ON YOUR OWN YOU WILL BE TOLD WHEN TO GET INTO YOUR GROUPS OF TWO YOU WILL BE RANDOMLY PUT INTO GROUPS AND EXPECTED TO WORK WELL WITH YOUR PARTNER

YOUR PARTNER The person in the connected desk next to you is your partner. If you do not have a person next to you, I will tell you who your group of three will be. There will be only one or two groups of three in any given classroom.

ACTIVITY (on your own) Write one paragraph describing your favorite subject and what you’re looking forward to this year. Why is this class your favorite? Why are you looking forward to what you listed?

ACTIVITY (with your partner) Turn to your partner and describe to each other what you wrote. Listen to what your partner says (make eye-contact and nod for understanding), because I may call on you when we return to the whole group
