2. A boy was told by his father that how much ever he earned, at least donate 10% of the earnings for the good cause. The boy listened and he reversed his father’s statement and gave 90% of his income to his students and retained 10% for himself! And he did it until his retirement, whose service includes almost 36 years.

3. Way back in 1969, a young teacher from Mysore joined a school in Hubli. The lucky school was J.T.S. (Junior Technical School). And thus began the saga of a redoubtable human being. Rising from crippling poverty he went on to bring about a social revolution of sorts by sponsoring the education of more than 500 students who were bright but couldn't afford higher education. Most of them are engineers, doctors and other professionals today. He helped irrespective of students' caste, creed or gender. He also encouraged them to be mentally tough, by telling them about extraordinary men and women.

4. But still the teacher is very humble, kind and doesn’t have any ego that he did his duty. He never had the greediness to become popular and had no interest in this materialistic world. He is none other than our beloved Maha Guru Shri. C. S. Shridhar, retired noble teacher from Junior Technical school. Now he is retired from his service but not retired from helping students in whatever ways he can. His views, thoughts and kindness provoked some of his students who say: “When one person could do this single handedly being in a government school then why can’t we do much more than what our Maha Guru intended to do? ".

7. About US: Mahaguru Educational Trust is a non-profitable organization formed by group of individuals who are all students of C.S.Shridhar sir. Mission: To empower those students who are brilliant but stricken by poverty. To put hope where people have lost it. To motivate and inspire students to stretch their limits and to raise the bar. To help the students aspire for a better life and to make them responsible and concerned citizens. In turn take our nation to the new heights. Vision: The vision is to create awareness in society that a few committed individuals can work revolutions. That we can create an India where everyone is educated and prosperous.

Single- handedly he transformed the quality of more than 500 individuals and their families by helping them financially as well as intellectually and morally.
