Ultrasound A very high frequency sound. Some animals Dogs Cats Bats Dolphins Mice

Infrasound A very low frequency sound. Hard for human to hear it. – It is similar to a sound wave Earth Quakes Meteors Avalanches Volcanoes Tornadoes Identifying the tension of a Valcanoe

Constructive interference Two or more waves resulting. Two normal waves gives you one large wave. Humming. Speakers. Two same waves(power) connect, gives you one large one.

Destructive interference Two waves unequal. If they connect… it wont sound right. When two sound waves connect that don’t go together doesn't fit. (weird noise

Reflection When a wave bounces off of something and bounces back. Swimming Talking Waves hit the wall and bounce back.

Refraction The speed of the wave. – Travels quick through air. Spoon in a cup of water (slow). The air is making waves travel, through an opening.

Diffraction Sound waves around or through an opening of an object. Talking into paper with a hole in it. Sound travels through and opening between an object.
