What is the attitude of the poet towards the subject of the poem? What do they feel about the poem? If the poem is more descriptive.

Identify and explain the effect of the techniques used by the poet. Can just mean choosing the phrases that you liked and explaining what you liked about them!

How successful is the poem overall? Give your informed opinion. OR How well do C, A and T work together?!

1.In pairs, choose a poem each. 2.Tell your partner what happens in your poem. 3.Explain what the poet feels about what happens in the poem. Be specific and use examples from the poem to support your ideas. 4 minutes

1. Choose at least four words or phrases that had an effect on you. 2. For each one, explain to your partner what the effect was and how the writer achieved that effect. 7 minutes

1.Explain why you think this is an effective piece of writing. You are welcome to repeat any previous point if you think it is relevant. 4 minutes
