4  Stressor – a stressor ranges from everyday annoyances to serious personal problems  Fight or flight response – is the process by which the body prepares to deal with a stressor

5  Adrenaline – this is the hormone that gives the body extra energy  Intense – extreme  Time management – strategies for using your time efficiently

6  It is a normal reaction to certain situations or events in your life.  Examples of long-term physical effects  Not all stress is bad

7  In your opinion, what causes the most stress for teenagers?  Anything that causes stress is called a stressor  Stressors can be positive or negative

8  Different people respond to stressors differently  Put these in order of 1 – 16, with 1 being the most stressful for you

10  Although stress is an emotional reaction to events, your body is also affected  Fight or flight response – is the process by which the body prepares to deal with a stressor
