You don’t worry about standards – colours and line size for symbols. Done for you. Don’t change these. All you need to do is: Work out the map layout. Place the controls, patrolled roads & out-of-bounds on the map Crop out unwanted map data, add map attributes: Date, WARA website, scale, legend, logos, setters and vetters, farmer names (useful for future reference), possession statement… All listed in manual.
