The Internet is a very helpful tool but it can also be very harmful.

What Should You Do? Do not respond to inappropriate messages or e-mails. Save the evidence. (Take screen shots of images, save e-mails or messages, record times & dates)

Contact Internet Provider/Cell Phone Provider & ask that web page be removed. “Block” bullies and delete your current account.

Get a new phone number. Tell a trusted adult. Talk to your school personnel.

Report It! Report to www.cybertipline.com www.cybertipline.com If something illegal has happened call law enforcement.

Consequences II-14 No student shall engage in conduct prohibited by Board Policy 4332, which prohibits against discrimination, against harassment and bullying. (See Student Code of Conduct p. 4)

Consequences Short term suspension not to exceed 5 days/ Possible Increase to 10 days Short Term Suspension or Long-Term Suspension with aggravating factors
