E-courses Dan Ye, an instructional designer, has been hired by the CAES Office of Academic Affairs to assist faculty with course designs. In particular, she has extensive experience helping faculty convert face-to-face courses to an online format. She has access to equipment and software that you might need. You might consider developing an online course: To teach to students at the Tifton, Griffin or Athens campuses, To offer through Ag*IDEA, To offer in the summer semester, or As a component of an online academic program.
14
E-courses E-courses have to be approved as a separate course CRSS 4600 and CRSS 4600E UGA Office of Online Learning approves Synchronized with academic term They seem to prefer videos of course lectures in small sections Can be stored on Kaltura and accessed via elc Tuition return to the department?
15
E-courses and Distance Ed Demand for non-thesis programs online such as for county agents Some are using software (Zoom) that will allow a student at his/her computer to call into a class using Tandberg
16
Course Syllabi University policy (Academic Affairs Policy Statement #13) states: Departments and programs will make the class course syllabus of the most recent offering of each course under each instructor readily available for inspection by students who may wish to enroll in the course in the future. Departments and programs will make these class syllabi available to students on a web site accessible by students. Please send a copy of your Fall 2014 syllabus to Vivienne as soon as possible
