NEW MEMBER SURVEY Don’t forget…Your new members are in a unique position to provide insights and ideas for your club. Their input can help guide continuing and future activities and increase member satisfaction. Sample New Member Survey can be found under the Membership Retention tab of the Membership Resources section on the SIA website

Are you Listening? Keeping an ear tuned to specific issues that might be important to potential members Promote opportunities to utilize or develop skills/talents of potential members Encourage dialogue that tunes into the needs of the women and girls we serve, it captures their enthusiasm and promotes the opportunity to pay it forward. (i.e. Mentoring programs, Dream it Be it)

Everyone wants to feel important, needed, respected and appreciated!
The secret to recruiting prospects as well as retaining members is to know their talents, their areas of expertise in order to assist them on how they fit in with those talents, and how they can contribute in an important and meaningful way.

What do Potential Members want…..
Relationships – 75% - seeking friendship & fellowship and being with other like minded women. Mission – 68% - personal connection to our mission. Personal Growth – 63% - hoped to gain leadership and personal development opportunities. Volunteer Opportunities – 62% - looking for hands on opportunities to do volunteer work.
