2011 New York City Veterans Day Parade Float Planning Template If you are planning on having a float in the 2011 New York City Veterans Day Parade, please use this template to create an initial concept sketch of your float. Once your float is confirmed, we will work with you to refine and execute the design. Some key points: We work with a professional, fully insured float provider to produce all floats for the parade. Please direct all your float-related questions through our office, in order to prevent miscommunication & confusion The maximum number of passengers (seated or standing) on any float is 24. All floats include: A wheeled structure with a large “backboard” for your message (see attached diagrams) An insured truck and driver to tow the float The body and trim color of your choice Signage with your message (see attached diagrams) Chairs For Deluxe floats: Sound systems available Optional basic structures (arches, post-and beams) available Additional structures/sculptures available (Globes, planes, etc.); which can be modified to fit your message The following are available at an additional cost Custom construction/fabrication of major structures/sculptures “Wallpapering” of entire float with signage For more information, contact floats@vetsday.org
