Adolf Hitler Born on April 20, 1889 Hitler joins German Workers Party in 1919. People joined the party in numbers People wanted a thirst for adventure and distaste for peace brought on by the Treaty of Versailles

Hitler’s Growing Power In the summer of 1920, the swastika was chosen as their symbol German Workers name changed to National Socialist German Workers' Party or Nazi for short The party grew more popular

Hitler’s Growing Power Hitler is named the fuehrer of the Nazi party The Beer Hall Putsch occurs in 1923. In 1923-24, Hitler writes Mein Kampf The SS or Nazi Storm Troopers was formed
