Jewish Ghettos When Germany invaded Poland and conquered them in two weeks. All Polish Jews where removed from their homes and placed in poor or ghetto cities. Krakow, Poland was one of 5 ghettos Jews were placed into.

Jewish Forced Labor Camps Concentration Camps Concentration camps became places where millions of ordinary people were enslaved as part of the war effort, often starved, tortured and killed. Although most of the people were Jews, often times prisoners were forced to do wartime labor at no cost other than life and very meager food and shelter.

List of Concentration Camps It is estimated that the Nazis established 15,000 camps in the occupied countries. To compile a list would be very long.
