2  AUTOMATIC MANDATORY ENROLLMENT  7.5% of your pay is automatically deducted.  Funds are deposited in a TIAA-CREF Money Market Account.  TIAA-CREF sends enrollment packet directly to your home.  Withdrawals may not be made from this plan while working for the College.  Withdrawals may only be made under specific circumstances noted in the memo.

3  In addition to the alternate plan, employees can elect to enroll in a tax shelter annuity 403(b) retirement account  List of 10 providers to choose from on MDC HR Benefits website  Employees can defer $17,000 for 2012 and employees age 50 years and above may contribute an additional $5,500 per year for a total of $22,500
