My Various Jobs Composting Chrysanthemums Planting in the Nursery General work in the Maintenance Area Fence mending/building Sunday Openings and Informant Some surveying Landscaping
7
My Primary Project Mostly I participated in small projects that George needed taken care of. The largest project I was involved in was the construction of a border fence at the entrance. I helped survey the border for the fences position, and helped complete the fences construction.

Mr. Longenecker’s House I also had the privilege on my last day of work to visit George’s house while delivering some equipment. It was constructed on a cliff-edge, and extends down the face of the cliff. In other words, George has a cliff in his living room, how fascinating!!!!

George’s Amazing Home Notice the cliff-edge and plants, located inside the front door (top-center).

What I’ve Learned Importance of Recreation in growing urbanized areas. Added understanding of my responsibilities to the natural world around me. Time Management Engineering Inspiration
15
My New Inspiration After seeing the amazing design of Mr. Longenecker’s Home, I have become inspired in a new way. Engineering obviously has no limitations to terrain. Never believe nothing can be done with a site that is proclaimed “unbuildable”.
16
In Conclusion I greatly enjoyable the experience! Helped inspire me in Environmental Engineering. I feel that I have made a difference. Many thanks extended to Kristi Wood and George Longenecker!
