3. WSC Waves 2015 Season The Registration Meeting will be May 3rd from 2:00-4:00 pm. Important information about the season, parent volunteering, and swim suit fitting will be included during this meeting. All American will be supplying us with our 2015 team suit, which is called TYR Venom. Please bring your registration form and fees. The first practice on May 26 th will start at 6:00 PM. This is a “dry” practice so bring your running shoes. If weather allows, 11 & up will get into the pool. There will be a Junior Coaches meeting on May 26 th at 7:00 PM after the first practice. Team Pictures will be taken this year on Tuesday, June 9 th at 6:30 PM. Swimmers MUST be at the pool in their swimsuits at 5:45 pm. Regina Harmon of “The Total Connection” will be taking individual and team pictures. Order forms will be available at practices the week prior to and also that day. Rain date is Thursday, June 11 th at 6:30 PM. The End-of Season Awards Celebration is planned for Saturday, July 25th at the Wendell Swim Pool. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this event to recognize every swimmer who contributed to the success of the season. This event is pot-luck so bring your favorite dish and a dessert. More information about the celebration will be posted on the bulletin board at a later date. Parents of returning swimmers, there is no additional cost for the awards celebration but for first time swimmers, there is an additional $12.00 to cover the cost of the plaque payable with the registration fee.
