2 Project Description Robo-Football Demonstration and Competition Development Intercollegiate robotic “football” competition with elements similar to American Football Will develop rules and quarterback prototype to demonstrate some key features of the game

3 Previous Week’s Action Items Item 1: Finish CADing Prototype – Air cannon, base, drive wheels, and the caster wheels are complete and assembled. – The drive motors, and the cam are also complete but not in the assembly yet. – We still need to CAD the stepper motor, the batteries, and the assembly that supports the stepper motor. Item 2: Build air cannon – Have not received sprinkler valve so the air cannon assembly is only partially completed.

5 Current Status Current Graphic – Completed CAD drawings and assemblies of prototype parts Design Status – Finalized prototype dimensions – Drive motors and wheels have arrived. Schedule – Show Stopper: Have not received the sprinkler valve.

7 Next Week’s Action Items Item 1: Select stepper motor and batteries – Determine what amount of torque that the stepper motor will see and then order it. – Determine the size that our two 12-volt batteries need to be and then order them. Item 2: Develop an electrical diagram – Analyze how the batteries, the motors, and the controller need to be connected so that they work properly – Draw a preliminary diagram that shows these connections so that we can start planning how we are going to wire the robot.
