2. Project Description Robo-Football Demonstration and Competition Development Intercollegiate robotic “football” competition with elements similar to American Football Will develop rules and quarterback prototype to demonstrate some key features of the game

Previous Week’s Action Items Item 1: Finish CADing Prototype – Air cannon, base, drive wheels, and the caster wheels are complete and assembled. – The drive motors, and the cam are also complete but not in the assembly yet. – We still need to CAD the stepper motor, the batteries, and the assembly that supports the stepper motor. Item 2: Build air cannon – Have not received sprinkler valve so the air cannon assembly is only partially completed.

5. Current Status Current Graphic – Completed CAD drawings and assemblies of prototype parts Design Status – Finalized prototype dimensions – Drive motors and wheels have arrived. Schedule – Show Stopper: Have not received the sprinkler valve.

Next Week’s Action Items Item 1: Select stepper motor and batteries – Determine what amount of torque that the stepper motor will see and then order it. – Determine the size that our two 12-volt batteries need to be and then order them. Item 2: Develop an electrical diagram – Analyze how the batteries, the motors, and the controller need to be connected so that they work properly – Draw a preliminary diagram that shows these connections so that we can start planning how we are going to wire the robot.
