3. Why teaching is important to me… In my future classroom, I hope to be a positive role-model for my students. 4. An interesting fact about me….. Ever since I was a little girl, I played “school” with my friends and ALWAYS had to be the teacher. I had this enormous school set that fit perfectly under my bed that I had to order from a teacher’s magazine (basically I have been a huge nerd ever since I was seven years old). This desire to become a teacher has been a passion of mine for several years as you can see and I am so excited to finally have my own classroom!

5. In the next 5 years….. Next year, I hope to get accepted to a Master’s program for Childhood Education (hopefully in NYC—at an inner city school).
