Because the Mustang lives in a rough habitat the Mustang relies on it's adaptations greatly to survive. The Mustang grows thick fur in the winter to keep it warm in the frigid habitat that the Mustang calls it's home. The Mustang's legs are long, and powerful, this helps them run from predators. The Mustangs hooves have become very hard and the don't need shoes to protect there feet. The ears are large and finely tuned so that it can hear the smallest sound. The Mustang has large nostrils so that it can smell a predator from a long way off.
