draft-linsner-geopriv-relativeloc-01 This document defines additional civic address parameters for use in Location Objects. The format is based on the civic address definition of PIDF-LO. These additional parameters allow expression of a relative location.

Other info This is additional data used to supplement Bob’s location dataset It is recommended the resultant location does not fall outside the bounds of the associated data. Plot x axis first. Reference point is of local significance

Comments to date James W. thinks this is a compound location and should be a new location type (not geo, not civil) Confusion on orientation –Maybe building axes vs. geo axes? Yes, N, S, E, W can be confusing, but standardizing building shape/orientation is no less daunting.
