Qualitative + Quantitative Data Points = SMART Goals ● Increase the percentage of students at or above grade level by 6% in math as measured by the EOG assessments in grades 3-5 during the 13-14 school year. ● Combine three walkthroughs with each round of observations so teachers receive more specific feedback. ● Hold teachers accountable for doing the work that supports our academic goals by having bi weekly meetings and weekly walkthroughs

How does SAM help an instructional leader reach school SMART goals? ● Goal setting features ● Reports for time spent with specific teachers ● Holding principal accountable for what needs to be done around our goals

Intentional Planning What are your next steps? ● Use your own data to do identify a focus area ● Use this time to begin your reflection on the “Student Success by Design” ● Look over the instructions for the 360 Interviews, decide who you want to interview and where that fits on your calendar
