What is a spreadsheet? A table of data that allows combinations of the data to be used for analysis.

Why Use a Spreadsheet? Information can be linked from one cell to another, allowing the data to be analyzed better. Scenarios can be explored for a situation. Multiple sets of data can be simultaneously processed and analyzed. Charts, graphs, and maps can be generated for further insight into a problem.
