3 affable (AFF-uh-bull) adjective Sounds like: a fable Picture… Aesop, a Greek man who lived about 500 B.C. Imagine him as a very friendly, outgoing person, standing in the center of the village and greeting people as they pass by. Other forms: affability (n); affably (adv) Definition: friendly; easygoing
