2  It took 2 years to complete the Eiffel Tower.  It took 132 workers and 50 engineers to build it.  It was complete in 1889, and was then the tallest structure in the world at 320 metres high!

3  The Eiffel tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel.  He was a French engineer that specialized in metallic buildings.  He also was a contributor to the Panama Canal and the armature of the Statue of Liberty.

4  The Eiffel Tower is the most famous structure in Paris, and possibly France.  The Eiffel Tower is 100% owned by The City of Paris.  It is located at 48.8583°N 2.2945°E48.8583°N 2.2945°E

5  The Eiffel Tower has 2.5 million rivets.  The Eiffel Tower weighs 7000 tons.  50 tons of paint has to be applied to it every 7 years to avoid rust.  It was built for the World's Fair to show that iron could be strong like stone while being a lot lighter.
