Create slides: Information in a Presentation appears on a slide. The slide layout can be like this one, as a bulleted list, or may incorporate a picture or a graph.

Add text: Text is usually added in bulleted lists. A slide can have one bulleted list or may appear like this one with two lists. Text can be formatted to be different sizes, styles and colours. Text is kept to a minimum, with only main points listed.

Add graphics: This slide layout allows for a graphic to be added to the slide. The graphic can be a picture from the Clipart Gallery or one you may have on file.

Create graphs: Graphs are used to show statistical information in a picture form. They are easier to read and to interpret than text.

Create organisation charts:

Add a background: Generally, a slide presentation will have a consistent background for all of the slides. This presentation has a background called ‘Blends’, which is white with the coloured boxes at the top left and the blue text for the headings. The background on a presentation is referred to as the design template.

Using automatic timing: Often slide shows are organised to run automatically, such as at: trade fairs boat and home shows information nights shopping centres
