Civil Rights Amendments 13th Amendment - RATIFIED (approved) in 1865, outlawed slavery in the United States.

Civil Rights Amendments 14 th Amendment (1868) - granted full citizenship to African-Americans. This did not include Native- Americans because at the time they could not become citizens.
