Other ideas Collage your map with patterns taken from maps and other sources Add in images taken by students Use old road atlases / A-Z to add extra texture and detail to the images Use a range of mixed media to create the map e.g. charcoal, poster paint Build up the texture to create a 3D effect using kitchen roll and PVA or papier-mache
