2 SIXTH FORM Heath Park As an 'OUTSTANDING' school with a track record of success at the highest level we feel immensely proud of our achievements. Students, parents and staff are very positive about Heath Park and share a pride in the school that develops into enthusiasm and commitment at all levels. Georgetta Holloway, Headteacher Heath Park caters for the needs of all students. We aim to ensure that every pupil at the school is successful in their own right. We have high aspirations for our students and we want them to be determined to succeed, confident in their abilities and fully involved in the life of the school and the community in which it serves.

4 SIXTH FORM Heath Park Excellent Exam Results 2015 HP Av points per pupil (A Levels or equivalent) 868 Av points per entry (A Levels or equivalent) 231 A* - E (%) 98 Destinations All of our students who confirmed their destinations went onto either an apprenticeship, job or university. All 74 of our Year 13 who applied to University were successful in gaining a place and we’re very proud of our first Medical student in 2014.

7 SIXTH FORM Heath Park Teaching and Learning Successful Learning Attitudes and behaviours are vital for success. Role Models. Sixth Formers taking responsibility for their own learning together with support from home will result in positive outcomes. For every taught hour at least an hour outside the classroom Independent study/Homework Organisation and deadlines Planner Note taking, folders and research Communication, support and Intervention opportunities New Btec Assessment Plans – One resubmission opportunity if deadlines are met Linear courses – Two year A2 courses

8 SIXTH FORM Heath Park New Facilities Dedicated Sixth Form Study Rooms and Sixth Form Café offer accessible independent study facilities that are available all day, before school and afterschool. Productive use of facilities and independent study time will ensure students are meeting deadlines and can respond effectively to feedback from teachers.

Boys must wear a shirt that is suitable for a Sixth Form tie, girls tops should be suitable for the office All students wear a Heath Park pin School shoes must be black, smart and sensible Business Dress Code
