The Bolivian leader (an ex child worker) wants to lower the working age Children are unifying to legalize child labour in order to receive the same protection and rights as adults Petitions are in order to let people under 14 work legally There is a bill currently to ban child labour in Bolivia but many oppose it. Enforcing labour laws in Bolivia would be catastrophic to those who rely on the income of a child working in the mines or shining shoes They need the income What’s being done
