Underclassmen, you can turn in your computers and chargers at the Help Desk next week if you don’t need them anymore. You will keep your backpacks unless you will not be back here next year. The final collection will be through homerooms on the last day of school – Friday from 10:49 – 11:36.

If you lost a bracelet in the 900 wing and can describe it, go to Ms. Johnson's office in the AP to collect it.

Any student interested in being a Help Desk Aide next year should go by the Help Desk, room 306, and pick up an application. Be sure to do this before you leave school this week.

Attention NHS members: Please remember today is the last day to turn in your 15 service hours on the designated form and pay your $15 annual fee.

There will be an Interclub Council meeting immediately after school on Tuesday in Mrs. Cody’s room 210. The theme for Homecoming 2015 will be decided! All club and organization representatives are invited!! Please come with suggestions!

Students, library books were due last week. If you have a library book still out, it is now overdue. Please check your book bag, your house, and your car for those overdue books and get them returned to the library today! Thanks for your cooperation!

Summer school dates have been announced! The first term of Summer School for high school students (grades 9-12) begins on Monday, June 8, and ends on Thursday, June 25. The second term of summer school begins on Monday, July 6 and ends on Thursday, July 23. Summer school for Foley High students will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday here at the school. (Cont.)

In addition to regular summer school and credit recovery, Credit (Summer) Acceleration and Credit Advancement are also available for high school students this summer. Credit Acceleration allows students to complete a course never attempted before through self- paced instruction. The student will show mastery by successfully completing an end-of- course assessment in that subject. (Continued)

Summer School enrollment forms are available at the school and at www.bcbe.org. Students will be charged $150 to make up one-half of a course or $300 to make up a full course or two half courses. The maximum fee charged per student is $300. Students must register with their school counselor and pay tuition by 11:30 a.m. on June 4, 2015. Schools will accept payment for summer school by cash or money order (no personal checks).www.bcbe.org (Continued)

Credit Advancement allows students who already know most of the standards taught in a particular course to prove mastery of course content by successfully completing pretests and posttests in units of study in that subject. Both programs are available through ACCESS, and a request form signed by a parent is required. Contact your child’s school counselor for further information.

Our Mighty Lions football team will be playing its spring game this Saturday. The game will be played at MM Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, MS. This is the home stadium for the USM Golden Eagles. The Lions will be playing the Madison Central Jaguars from Madison, MS, and the game starts at 1 PM. Come out and support your Lions.
