Equipment Each school is equipped with – 3 or 4 ICT labs depending on its size –2 technology labs –Science labs for subjects such as physics, Chemistry and biology –DIAS room equipped with pc/laptops for each student, video projector and multimedia facilities At the moment we have an ongoing delivery of around 1500 new PCs at schools all around the island Around 2000 will probably be scheduled for next year. Structure Cabling Costs For the 45 schools so far around 5.000.000 € have been spent Another 2.000.000 € for the 24 that are being processed now For the primary education the cost is expected to be much less due to the size of each school and the simplicity of the requirements.
