Using the cloud technique to check a decision on whether to continue keeping an old truck. The story: I have an old pickup. It is handy for hauling stuff and it is paid for. The problem is that I don’t use it much and it is costing $$$ to keep (insurance, license, etc.) In the past I did a cloud that justified keeping the truck. Time has passed and the old decision to keep the truck needs to be looked at again. (Press page down to continue)

The old cloud. Owned older vehicles and used the truck for hauling and as a backup vehicle A B C D D’ (Repeat pressing page down to continue) We can’t do D & D’ Be happy Have adequate transportationKeep truck Don’t Keep truckKeep spending down In order to A I must B…Because A-B Not having adequate transportation = worry B-D The truck is a back up vehicle if I need it A-C I’m not abundantly wealthy…have to watch spending C-D I could reduce spending on insurance, etc Some assumptions: A-B and B-D were the strongest for me so I kept the truck

The new cloud. I still have older vehicles, but I have another good vehicle that I can use as a backup. I still use the truck occasionally for hauling stuff. A B C D D’ We can’t do D & D’ Be happy Have adequate transportationKeep truck Don’t Keep truckKeep spending down In order to A I must B…Because A-B Not having adequate transportation = worry B-D I need the truck to occasionally haul stuff A-C I’m not abundantly wealthy…have to watch spending C-D’ I could reduce spending on insurance, etc Some assumptions: B-D is now the weakest for me so I will sell the truck. An injection to the B-D assumption (need method to haul stuff) would be to put a trailer hitch on one of the vehicles and borrow the in-laws trailer or borrow their truck. (Repeat pressing page down to continue) (The end)
