What is a sharecropper? sharecropping is a system of share cropping that involves giving jobs to poor people ( any race ) in the farming business. The worker has to work on taking care of the crops and do other stuff around the farm. What happens when people make more cotton than they can sell? we have a system called supply and demand. This is a system when a product starts to become rare the prices starts to increase, But when a product starts to increase the prices decrease. The farmers during reconstruction followed this system.
