3 Bland (adjective) a) Mild; soothing; not irritating b) Dull; lacking in interest EX. Jonathan’s chili is so bland that I have to add pepper to it to make it tasty.

4 Culinary (adjective) a) Pertaining to cooking or the kitchen EX. Jillian is improving her culinary skills by fixing breakfast for her family each morning.

5 Delectable (adjective) a) Greatly pleasing, especially to the sense of taste; delicious; delightful EX. Phillip enjoyed the delectable food in the Virgin Islands.

6 Devour (trans. verb) a) To eat up greedily; swallow; engulf b) To consume enthusiastically EX. The hungry puppy devoured his food.

7 Edible (adjective) a) Suitable for eating; capable of being eaten EX. A cashew nut is edible; a wing nut is not.

12 Ravenous (adjective) a) Extremely hungry EX. Dr. Anderson told me at my last doctor appointment that the reason teenagers are so ravenous is because they are growing so fast.
