This flooring qualifies for LEEDTM points, increasing the environmental or “green” rating of the building where the flooring is being used.USGBC Recycled Content Approximately 25% of the wood used in manufacturing this line comes from a manufacturer’s post-industrial waste. This is the solid wear layer which is 100% recycled.

9. FSC Certified American Woods Collection Only Through Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), a Chain of Custody Certificate has been awarded in accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council A.C. (FSC). The American and World Woods Collection – SingleStrip Wood Flooring At least 75% of the wood used in manufacturing this line of products comes from well managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council. The core/back components, which comprise 75% of the flooring by volume, are 100% FSC certified (while the solid wood wear layer is 100% recycled).
