It is a defense mechanism to avoid painful emotions unconsciously transferring distress to the body. Causes a person to need to be the center of attention Rapidly changing emotions Impressionistic speeches Gives opinions with no supporting details WHAT IS PSYCHOLOGICAL HYSTERIA?

HOW DOES IT AFFECT A GROUP? A phenomena in which a group of people experience the same hysterical symptoms at the same time. They may also become governed by irrational belief or moral panic
