3 How to measure success Formal metrics FOR majors/outside of Majors –Different! –headcount/ enrollment Exit interviews (seniors)

4 DOs and DONTs DO –get Chair engaged –encourage dialog in targeted groups –objective assessment –be collegial, understand language of others –ask faculty about their needs. – involve others early (from Higher Ed )

5 DOs and DONTs take it to dept meeting Whine Don’t proclaim yourself King of the story, don't be so righteous about CS.
