“Lighthouse of the pacific.” Glowing top could be seen far out at sea. Erupted from 1770 until 1958 (188 years).

Santa Ana Volcano Tallest of El Salvador's volcanoes. Towers 2365 meters (over 7,000 ft.) above sea level. First eruption was in 1520. Has erupted 12 times. Last time was in 1920.
