5 Human environment interaction refers to how humans and the environment interact with each other.

6 Example: In cold environments, people adapt their clothing

7 Before volcanic eruptions, people are evacuated

21 EARTHQUAKE - Earthquakes occur along fault lines - Fault lines are where two tectonic plates come together - Many homes and business are damaged during earthquakes - Earthquakes are unpredictable

25 Human Migration  People keep traditions and language from where they come from.  Examples: Cinco de Mayo; St. Patrick’s Day  The many different languages in America due to Movement or Migration

26 Mountains  Mountain ranges are long chains of mountains  Ranges are formed when two plates have collided along a fault  There are many different mountain ranges around the world

27 Deposition The movement of soil or other sediment from one place, and being deposited somewhere else
