Coal industry
2
Let my fuhrer Daniel give us some information about coal that we have already learned
3
Steam coal Coal for power generation: 1/3 generated from china. Coal for steam locomotive: 2 percent of total coal consumption. Coal for building materials:10 persent. of total coal consumption. { Coal for living: 20 persent of whole use.
4
Coal for metallurgy. Coking coal 27.65% of all China's coal reserves Mainly usage to coking carbon. America output 1.1*10¹¹ T per annum. China output 3.2*10¹¹ T per annum. Total can earn 220*10¹¹ RMB. To be equivalent to Singapore GDP per annum.
5
Clean coal technology Definition is a collection of technologies being developed to reduce the environmental impact of coal energy generation. Why do we use it? When coal is used as a fuel source, such as sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide, have been established to have a negative impact on the environment, contributing to acid rain or climate change. As a result, clean coal technologies are being developed to remove or reduce pollutant emissions to the atmosphere.
6
How can we get it? Some of the techniques that would be used to accomplish this include chemically washing minerals and impurities from the coal, gasification, treating the flue gases with steam to remove sulfur dioxide
7
Purification technology of flue gas Definition Through a practical example of treatment of the flue gas from the remelting process of aluminum alloy tailings How does it work? Com bination of centrifugal and wet dust removal can purify the dust high efficiently. The carbon black and harmful gases in the flue gas can be removed by adding a small quantity of activator to the absorption solution. The application results are that the dedusting efficiency is 97.43%, Cl2 control efficiency is 88.03%, the exhaustfume blackness is lower than Ringelman number I, and the purification device resistance is 126Pa.

Coal&impurity separate coal&impurity coal products physical&chemicalµbial industrial processing
10
Main technique Preparation of raw coal Classification of raw coal Dehydration of coal Dryness of coal Dealing with coal slime water
12
Classification Physical Coal wishing Chemical Coal wishing Microbial Coal wishing
13
Affect Raise the quality of coal, decrease the amount of pollutants of firing coal Promote efficiency of coal using Optimize the structure of coal products
14
coal liquefaction, coal vaporization, fuel cell. Benefit : ·Change the pattern of coal consumption · Decrease the quantity combusted of coal ·Assure national energy security ·Relief the contradiction of supply-demand.
15
Coal carbonization The coal carbonization is heating the coal in air isolated system. To make coal decompose into carbon, coal tar, benzene and coal gas. coal Coal gas(g) Coal tar(l) Coke (s) CO H 2 CH 4 C 2 H 4 NH 3 NH 4 X C 6 H 6 C 6 H 6 C 6 H 5 CH 3 C 6 H 4 (CH 3 ) 2 phenol and Asphalt C
16
Coal gas Oven gas : the gas that produced by coal carbonization, the majority is hydrogen, and methane. The composition of the gases shows the ratio of the carbon element is very low , so the Calorific value is higher than most mixed gases. The oven gases is an ideal fuel for cities in 200 years from now. Water gas : the water gas is the production of the reaction of water and carbon. In the high temperature condition, they has the following reaction. C + H 2 O == CO + H 2 both the hydrogen and the carbonmonoxide is reducing gases, so they can ce used in the Iron industry. Fe 2 O 3 + 3CO == 2Fe + 3CO 2 Fe 2 O 3 + 3H 2 == 2Fe + 3H 2 O the hygrogen also can be used in nitrogen synthesis industry. Caobonmonoxide can react with water. CO + H 2 O == CO 2 + H 2 C + CO 2 == 2CO 3H 2 + N 2 == 2NH 3
17
Coal tar The coal gases in origin not only the fuel gases, also the benzene and amonia. So dose the coal tar. The majority of coal tar is benzene and its derivatives. Like toluene, xylene, phenol, naphthalene, Anthracene, and Phenanthrene, which can used in domain of Synthetic fiber, paint, Engineering plastics, and Explosive factory
18
Coke The majority of coke is carbon, which is one of the most common elemrnt. The carbon usually be used in iron industry to be the reducing agent or uesed in casting alloy. If you have too much money or too much freetime, you can try to produce diamond by coke. Do not try that unless the Bullion is full of your house. + High temperature high presure ===
